The life and times of our family as we face the ups and downs sometimes muddling is all we can do, and that is okay!

Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin
I just got inspired to post about the recent passing of the apostle Joseph B. Wirthlin from another blogger. I remember when he was called as an apostle. I was at BYU. He spoke at a fireside not too long after and I was taken in by his humor and simple message of hope. I loved his recent talk in October I think it's called Come What May and Love It. He had a sweetness and humor again that comforted me in what I see as my challenges. My boys will especially miss him they always enjoyed his football stories--even though he went to the U (BYUs rival). I overheard one of them Monday saying, "You know he's the one that always talked about football in his talks." I am happy for him because it seems he was deeply saddened by the passing of his wife (which is understandable!) and now they can be together again. He lived a great life and he will be missed.

We'll sure miss him, but I bet he's a lot happier now.
